I personally think advertising can be good and bad. Why I say this is because in some ways it does keep us informed on what’s going on around us today and what’s new.  But another way you can look at it is media can cause people to look at others like they are lower than other. For example when a company is trying to sale cars it has young and fit people driving the car and they have nice cloths and look rich. I know it’s a way that helps them sale but it’s not realistic another example is for the axes body spray  ad on tv the guy buts on the spray and all the girls run to him. I know people don’t believe it works but the younger kids who don’t know better might because media brain washes you at a young age when we don’t even notice it.

Veterans day

The significance of Veteran's day is the appreciation of all Vets, not just the ones who have given the ultimate sacrifice. The day is largely intended to thank and appreciate the LIVING soldiers, those who have been sent to war and have returned. This day is celebrated during wartime and peacetime, and represents the total military effort. As mentioned, Memorial Day is a day that we recognize and grieve for those who have lost family and friends. The significance of both of holidays is to recognize, appreciate, and thank our former and current military servicemen.
